Kim Boyd

Catawba Valley Community College recently honored Peoples Bank Senior Vice President, Kimberly L. Boyd, with the Outstanding Contribution to the African-American Community Award during its annual Multicultural Celebration in Honor of Black History month. “We are privileged to have Ms. Boyd as part of our organization and equally grateful to see her honored for her contributions in our community” says Tony W. Wolfe, President & CEO of Peoples Bank.

Kim has been with Peoples Bank since 1994 and has served as training director, vice president of retail banking and was promoted in 2001 to senior vice president. She has served in numerous leadership roles in community and civic groups in Catawba County including the NC Cooperative Extension Service, Minority Business Women of Catawba County and Hickory Metro Higher Education Advisory Council. She has served as a board member for the Catawba Valley YMCA, Catawba County Department of Social Services and has volunteered for the Catawba County United Way. She is a frequent speaker at community events on topics such as retail banking and womens’ leadership.
